The
Institute for Medical and Biological Cybernetics
of Siberian Branch of the Russian
Academy of Medical Sciences (IMBC SB RAMS) was founded
in 1992.
On August 1 M.B.Shtark, academician of RAMS, M.D., Ph.D.,
professor, was appointed the Director of IMBC.
Primarily the basic fields of investigation were:
methodology, methods and tools of biofeedback; measuring
and computing systems for diagnostics, treatment and
rehabilitation of different diseases on the base of
high technologies (medical digital radiography, neurocomputing,
biosensors); immunoneurophysiology.
Among the projects are:
- joint Russian-American project BION;
- immunochemical (biophysical) investigations of neuronal
systems;
- system mechanisms of adaptation-compensatory reactions
- a set of works.
The main scientific researches of the Institute are
are developed
specifically to produce original technologies and to
implement new physical processes and algorithms into
medical practice.
